Since its establishment in 1961, the Moreshet Publishing House has been publishing books and other publications on the subject of the Holocaust. Moreshet publications have included academic studies, documents, personal memoirs, community books, and books geared toward children and teenagers. Moreshet is the oldest publishing house in Israel that focuses on the subject of the Holocaust, and it has become a reliable and authoritative source of information and historical research on the Holocaust, antisemitism, and European Jewry. The books it publishes are meant to promote the lessons of the Holocaust, as well as the legacy of the uprising and the revival of the Jews. Thus far, Moreshet books have included personal testimonies, biographies, literature, chronicles, historical writings, and monographs.
